Hyderabad

On a very hot afternoon during a short term mission to Hyderabad, India in 2003, our team held a meeting for children and were then taken around the village in twos, at high speed, to pray for people and households. The local pastor brought me to one home where an old lady was sitting on her threshold. She wanted me to pray for her leg, so I layed hands on her to pray. We closed our eyes and all went silent for a few moments. I felt the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit and felt tears begin to come. I opened my eyes and knew that she had felt the same. She was also weeping quietly but a great peace had come over her. I was whisked off by the pastor and didn't get time to get a translator and ask her about her hip!
