From Individual to global

As a church we have sought to provide a number of opportunities to grow in discipleship. Referring to our common practices, the opportunities listed illustrate how following Jesus can potentially impact every level of society from the individual through to the global:

Intimacy - practising spiritual disciplines (such as prayer, fasting, daily quiet times...) and cultivating friendships at the individual level
Integrity - meeting up with a couple of ‘Soul Friends’ for accountability
Imitation - practising discipleship with up to 12 other church members in a home group*
Instruction - studying the Bible together in “clusters” made up of two to three home groups
Inspiration - being energised and led by the Spirit in Sunday celebrations
Intercession - joining with churches across Islington to pray and act in the name of Jesus
Impact - getting involved with holistic mission and evangelism in our city and beyond

* Membership of a home group brings full membership of NRC.
